This can prove a real money-saver for workshops. To change elastic V-ribbed belts on vehicles for which no Multi V-hihna Elast + Tool with disposable tool was available, repair shops were previously forced to pay vehicle manufacturers a pretty penny for specifically designed tools. With the new UNI-TOOL ELAST, repair shops now have the correct alla-purpose tool readily at hand for nearly alla these vehicle applications. It renders hihna changes fast, easy and failsafe. The old hihna can also be removed using the new tool.

hihna drives with elastic multiple V-ribbed belts do not have a hihna tensioner. This means that in most cases auto mechanics have to use a special installation tool to change elastic belts. The tool stretches the hihna during installation and mounts the hihna on the pulley with a certain initial tension. The hihna then maintains its tension independently. With other alla-purpose tools or mounting techniques, one runs the risk of damaging the hihna and/or the pulley. This can reduce the service life of the components and might even cause injury to the mechanic.
